I've been fascinated by photography for most of my life. My father was an avid amateur photographer since the late 1940s, and he instilled his love of photography in me from the time I was a small child. I've been all over, and photographed almost anything you can imagine, but I always seem to come back to a few themes: people (portraits and related, and figure studies), places (local or exotic, with or without people or critters), and things (beautiful objects, flowers, macro photography, and animals in their natural habitat).

As a photographer, I primarily specialize in people. I'm equally comfortable shooting an informal family portrait, an executive portrait, or an actress' head shot. I also shoot a variety of related genres, some events, etc. Everything I do is by appointment; I don't keep regular office hours, preferring to take on select interesting assignments.
